Just to put everyone at ease, this bill was actually presented in 2000 by Sen. jack Reed (D-RI) It died in committee due to successful efforts by the gun lobby.

I spoke of this HR 45 on my blog, it will get passed after healthcare, along with the RFID and they will rid the constitution and create a new one that is more global oreinted. We need to be very careful and watchful! THEY ARE BEING SNEAKY and do not rely on the media or any supposed opposition such as the NRA to this. It will be attempted!
