I think we need a bill for aholes like jack reed. It will be called the fair food act of 2009. In order to buy any kind of food you must obtain a goverenment issued federal ID card. Laws such as this bill longs to be are like locks on our doors. They only apply to honest criminals. Just as locks keep out anyone not seeking to break into your house, gun laws (to which the HR-45 will become if those morons in the seats of political offices have their way) only apply to those who choose to pursue legal means of obtaining a firearm. Therefore, none of this matters to those who still find ways to gain firearms and use them illegally.

It is so damn hard to buy a gun at a gun show, I now give the dealer a deposit and tell him I will stop by the shop to do the paperwork and EIGHT days after that I get to pick up my gun.

Can any one tell me where I can find one of these gun shows? Her in California I have to get the background check, then wait teen days before I can pick it up. And only one gun a month.

That bullshit I buy my guns at the gun shows here in florida and have to pay for a backround check and fill out the gov papers for my guns and had to wait the 3 days to get it. I just did not walk out with that day
I think this guy is lying about gun shows. Why in Wisconsin would we have to go through a back ground check that is run by the BATF and no other states have to do this. Sounds like he is incorrect and wants to control more. These politicians need to look at the facts about gun control and crime rates. Stricter gun control crime rate goes up. See what happened in DC.
