The enviros are working very hard behind the scenes to ban lead bullets. They are going to go about it by showing grizzly bears that have ate carcasses of animals wounded but not immediately downed. A ban of the manufacture of lead bullets will be one of the first cogs in the anti gun machine.

Ammo is in Demand. I buy ammo whenever I can find it. When talking to a Wal-Mart employee this week, I was told that he has the same people come in every morning to check what that got in on their last truck. Most of the gun shops here in Michigan report virtually the same story. Primers are in short supply here also. People used to buy 100 at a time now they buy 1000. (When they can get them) SAVE YOUR BRASS PEOPLE if you see brass at the range that is your caliber PICK IT UP.

The M1 will certainly knock anything down that walks, or runs. It has plenty of fire power, and is more gun than what most Soldiers in the field carry.

Vmpslr2: Pick up an old M1 Rifle. That will not anything down. A few people I know have reloading machines, for this very reason.
