Gun Control Nazi Style, H.R. 45, Blair Holt status, Ammunition scarcity

The Stench of Truth 119 Gun control Nazi style. HR 45 is in committee, the House Judiciary Committee. I have been told that it IS there, there are NO current plans to vote on it or act on it, it is NOT currently on the agenda. They could be trying to do it another way with another bit of legislation but I can’t say whether that’s true or not. But, barring that I’ve been lied to by TWO different people at the committee office, HR 45 is currently stalled and not in the stimulus bill. Keep your …

  1. I always buy bulk ammo whenever I can. Luckily for me ammo isn’t scarce where I live so stocking up hasn’t been much of an issue for me ;)

  2. This is an angle that I had not thought of, thanks I’ll keep an eye out for it. What happened in California BTW with the ammo legislation?

  3. The enviros are working very hard behind the scenes to ban lead bullets. They are going to go about it by showing grizzly bears that have ate carcasses of animals wounded but not immediately downed. A ban of the manufacture of lead bullets will be one of the first cogs in the anti gun machine.

  4. I know it’s true here too.

  5. Ammo is in Demand. I buy ammo whenever I can find it. When talking to a Wal-Mart employee this week, I was told that he has the same people come in every morning to check what that got in on their last truck. Most of the gun shops here in Michigan report virtually the same story. Primers are in short supply here also. People used to buy 100 at a time now they buy 1000. (When they can get them) SAVE YOUR BRASS PEOPLE if you see brass at the range that is your caliber PICK IT UP.

  6. True. Check out the homemade wood and metal gun that Ted Kaczynski made that is in a museum in DC.

  7. Gathering those of like mind to push for change is a good idea.

  8. What the anti-gun fools on the hill do realize is . . . if they take our guns . . . we can always make our own. They will always be here in one form or another.

  9. The M1 will certainly knock anything down that walks, or runs. It has plenty of fire power, and is more gun than what most Soldiers in the field carry.

  10. Vmpslr2: Pick up an old M1 Rifle. That will not anything down. A few people I know have reloading machines, for this very reason.

  11. We need Mass Rallies across the Country, like the anti-Tax TEA Party Rallies, on April15th. You will need to go to the Patriotic Resistance, at ResistNet dot (com)pany. Also vivit the web site for the Council of Conservatice Citizens, & follow the link for “Lee in the Mountains”. See what happened to once beautiful Rhodesia. I also suggest andther site called the American Renaissance. Read their updated News stories, and comment.

  12. I just read an story in the calgary sun of american hunters coming up to alberta to buy ammo because its being bought up and out of stock.

  13. And yet I keep hearing that the ammo. producers are running at top production, seems fishy to me in that respect.

  14. Part of the ammo shortage is due to the brass market being overwhelmed by the actions in Afghanistan and Iraq. Plus many emerging countries are buying up all the metals they can get. I have found it at Gander mountain and Cabelas. I suspect this is a test bill to learn if there would be a response. Since the bill is going nowhere for now it would seem the antagonists who sponsored this bill have their answer.

  15. Gander mountain has piles of ammo for 30-30, 22-250, .270, .223, 30-06, 556, 45-70, and others. Cabelas does too. I bought 2,000 rounds for my little .22 and about 500 30-30. But, I did it over a period of about one month so that I was not contributing to an artificial shortage. We ALL need to be writing to congress, warning these laws will incite a revolt NOT prevent one.

  16. Good, do it. It can never hurt to bring pressure to bear. I suspect that a new effort will be put forth, so keep your eyes open.

  17. I’m still calling them, even though HR 45 seems to be in limbo. That bill should never have existed to begin with.

  18. Yes. I, too, appreciate the crime deterrent aspects of the 12 gauge pump shotgun.

  19. Well, I can’t stand the NRA (or any other lobbyists)…but I like the notion that there would be serious consequences if they tried banning any ammo common to hunting…because some of those serve excellent double-duty…I’ve got a 12 gauge pump loaded with slugs…a serious deterrent to a crime, ha.

  20. I don’t know, maybe never. It was not on the docket for debate or discussion as of when this video was put up. I think we have to keep an eye on it BUT we also have to be wary of new legislation or a reworking of this that they might try to sneak in somewhere.

when will hr 45 be voted on?

  22. Glad you did.

  23. That is the sad part, I grew up thinking that the Government worked for the people……Then I grew up.

  24. Such rational arguments would do no good against such legislation.

  25. I too have not been able to find ammo in stock for about a month but recently it has been restocked. I’m assuming it was a buy out we are all buying ammo in regards to certain peoples position of power. As for the Ammo printing from what I have learned it is not feasable right now they just can’t do it. of course that is unless I’ve been lied to, Also alot of people leave casings at the range someone could just reload it then what? I get blamed for a murder I did not committ HMMM.
