Ermm, I’m certainly pro gun control, and the idea that Democrats are comparatively for gun control is an accurate one… all of the gun control measures passed in modern times have been under Democrats… something I’m proud of. Being for guns is being for killing and crime.

As a State Senator in Illinois he voted to pass several pieces of legislation to enforce more strict gun control.
As a candidate he all but said that we have a constitutional right to bear arms…. but it’s okay for the government to limit that right.
There are at least three bills in the house now that would drastically change gun control laws…. all of which Obama said he would sign if passed.

I’m sorry, but it’s almost exclusively Democrats who think gun control is a good idea. There are a tiny few exceptions, but by and large, elected Democrats don’t give a crap about gun owners who happen to have a D on their voter registration cards.

You mean by prohibiting citizens from buying assault rifles, they would be anti-Constitutionalist *****? Do you really think that when the Constitution was written it, they thought they were giving people guns that fired a million rounds a minute? If people want hunting rifles, that’s fine. For some reason, some people enjoy hunting, and I really don’t think a hunting rifle is much of a threat to me. I just don’t understand why people need to be able to buy handguns.

Get over yourself, no one wants to take away your guns, they just want to keep them away from kids with out parental supervision! Keep in mind that when the second amendement was written there were militias and people were hunters.. I realise you have the right to your guns, and that there are still hunters, but people who have guns that are perfectly legal to have…and don’t keep them locked up away from their kids should have to face a penalty for it.. you don’t agree with me, that’s fine. I just had an old friend shot by an 11 year old boy with his own damn gun that his father bought for him and did not keep locked up… even though the child said he wanted to kill her… this man is being charged with nothing…the kid is being tried as an adult in a system full of laws that can not even house him as an adult!

Then go and look up his speeches while in the Illinois senate and while in congress and see where he wants to ban all guns and remove our rights to conceal carry. Now add Hillary’s comments of wanting America to be part of the international handgun ban. Do you even listen to your own god? You folks are out there worshiping Obama like he is the greatest and you do not even know what he has said or what he stands for.

So start an exceptions list to your assertion or start learning to say “SOME” conservatives.
We have yet to hear a conservative say they want gun control.
We have heard plenty of democrat politicians saying they want it.
I guess one can surmise from that.
Biden introduced a bill that would outlaw most ammunition. He called it legislation to take armor piercing rounds off the streets. He didn’t mention that it included almost all hunting rounds. That is where it comes from.
While I think most are I do believe its not all of them. Hell I know several people who call themselves democrat who have more guns than Switzerland’s whole army

There is a huge difference between owning a gun to hunt or even to protect your home and walking around in a densely populated urban area with an assault weapon.

Obama, or anyone else will never get the votes to take away guns from the people. Assault weapons? I agree, the public does not need them and I own a lot of guns. Why are the conservatives going ape over this? Rush, the NRA and everyone else that truly believes all Democrats are for gun control tell them that.
