I am all for protecting children but the statistics show that firearms are the least of there worries. It is not about protecting children for the most part, it is trying to put restrictions on firearms with technology that is unproven. Any technology that law enforcement would be exempt from using must be no good. If they determine that it is, it may come back to the house for a vote, but he said he wasn't on that committee so he couldn't do anything about it. Write to your representatives and tell them how you feel and that your re-election vote for them depends on them voting it down.
