They will do their best to retain the power that they have won. Hopefully they realize that most people mearly voted against Bush and NOT for the Democratis agenda. Americans bought guns after 9-11. The fear of terrorism will grow when the next terrorist action takes place on our soil.... and it will now that the dems have some control of our government. That's why the Muslim terrorists were celebrating the election results and partying over it! They know what it means. I do not think Americans will stand for being told, in the present world environment, that they do not have a right to arms to defend themselves. It would be a major political mistake if they push for gun control now.
