All Private Guns Will Be Confiscated By Sept 2009 / Union is Dissolved
Not sure if anyone has heard this yet, but a report says that kissinger told Russian president Medvedev that By September (2009) well have confiscated all privately owned guns so it really doesnt matter what we do, well still be in charge. Didn’t even look at your video. All I know is, as an American, the constitution gives me the right to bear (sp?) arms, and the right to revolt against an unfair government. If they try to take away my gun, they aren’t getting it without a fight.

Katrina was a test run? So they planned a massive hurricane? There are tons of factors that separate Katrina and reality. 1st off, very few gun owners will voluntarily give up their guns because most gun owners know their rights. Secondly, the Katrina incident happened to an ISOLATED group of people, nobody heard about it till months after Katrina! Our constitution separates us from Europe. It is designed to control our government, there would a new civil war, that is all there is to it.
That’s just the thing, they don’t even need the military to do it. The legislation I’m expecting will require citizens to turn in the firearms voluntarily, and any citizen caught by the Police afterwards would be dealt with that much similar to post-invasion Iraq. If they did it to Louisiana, they’ll do it to you too. Did we get up and stop them then? Katrina was just a test run. Nothing seperates us from Australia, Britian, or Germany. Except for the fact we hold our noses a little higher.
What do you base that on? I am actually in the military, I can confidently say that my entire battalion would refuse any orders that would take the rights away from American citizens. It just wouldn’t happen. Part of our oath is to protect citizens from any enemy foreign or domestic, that includes our own government.

There is a big difference between taking guns from a hundred or so people and taking guns from millions. Look at prohibition, there was a lot of blood shed over that law and that was a ban on alcohol. Imagine if they tried to take our guns. Short of involving UN troops, they couldn’t do it. They can legislate Americans in to a revolution but not into submission. Besides, not all politicians are crooked, there would be a revolution on the hill before there was one on the streets.
What the Law says goes. Regardless of where an officers heart may lay. Last time during Katrina they used Blackwater agents who complained of only making $700 bucks a day. They were deputized by the Governor of Louisiana for the sole purpose of removing your weapon.

On the other hand, I think fear can be a good thing. There are lots of grinning mannequins walking around in the world today with bubblegum in their heads. Nothing is ever wrong, everything is okay. These people don’t take any of this seriously because everything’s all wonderful.
It’s true that fear is a bad thing if it makes you cower all the time and not take action. But absolute fearlessness is also not a good thing. (A life completely without fear also seems oddly Borg-like to me.)

Won’t happen, there would be an instant civil war. There are over 290 million privately owned guns in America and nearly 1/3 of the population are gun owners. If they tried it, it would backfire big time.
