HR45 and what it would mean to gun owners in the USA?
This bill has been floating around now for a couple weeks and I saw another story today on it and how its making an appearance on the hill. HR45 would make the “assault” rifle ban in 94 by Clinton look like a walk in the park. Assault rifles would not be banned for several years like before, they would be banned permanently. You would have to have an FFL in order to legally own a firearm in HR45. How would the government go about confiscating legal firearms from tax paying, ex military, clean record Americans? Liberals may ask, why do you need an assault rifle, why do you need guns, its not a matter of need or want, but of the God given right provided to all US citizens by the constitution. If two men can get married, or a woman can have an abortion, why cant I protect my family from a possible threat? Why does this administration want to take away the right to defend ourselves? Obama has already said that he will not weaponize space, he will cut our nuclear arsenal, and now he wants to take away our guns….somethings fishy here.

The HR 45 is a direct assault on our 2nd ammendment, but you will need to show me where it says in the bill that we would need an FFL to own a firearm.

Everyone needs to begin flooding their congressman with emails and phone calls telling them to OPPOSE this bill. And, if they don’t oppose it, then remove them at the next election.
It’s way past time to stop re-electing congresscritters who don’t follow the Constitution.
48% of you folks out there voted for him…the NRA and a whole bunch of right wingers published the Obama stance on guns and gun laws well before the general elections.
He is from Illinois and had a hand in some of the most draconian anti gun state policies for years.
Hr 45 or something similar gets to the floor every session…Call your Senators and Congressmen and let know how you stand on the issue.
All countries that have been taken over by marxists and dictators have a similiar program….. first take all weapons from the civilians and control the media so that no opposing views can be heard or viewed (democrats push for the “Fairness Doctrine” is just another step).

Email your congressman. It’s real easy and it’s important. All the talk in the world on yahoo answers won’t do anything unless your Representatives know how you feel and that you won’t be voting for them unless they oppose this bill

I figure there will be about 50 million Americans who will not register their guns. So what will the government do? Lock them all up? Not hardly.
