I’ve recently read that the US Senate added a provision to a bill giving DC full representation in Congress which would negate the District’s hyper-restrictive gun laws. With that in mind, I don’t think there’s going to be any action on HR 45 any time soon.
Yes, I have heard of it. The same Rep introduced it previously and it had no co-sponsors, so it died in committee. This time around it also has no other sponsors.
